Final Report

a)    Define the CHALLENGE/problem that inspires/inspired your heart to take action

and explain why it inspires/inspired you.

b)   What is the specific SDG or SDGs (it can be one or more ) that you support and is

connected with your Action?

2)   Share the results of your SOS4love Project.

3)   Share your feelings and reflections on your experience throughout the SOS4love project.

Be sure to describe: 

1)   Please provide answers to the following questions: 

a)    In this day and age, everyone's mobility is very high. A myriad of activities ranging from school, tutoring, extracurricular activities or even hanging out with friends. Lots of people put aside health issues, but have a lot of burden on their minds and eventually make them experience stress, whether they are young or old. Especially during a pandemic like this, anything is very difficult so that it adds to the burden on the mind.

Based on the results of research in the American Journal of Psychiatry, a healthy lifestyle and intake of nutritious foods help meet the needs and nutrition of the brain. If your brain is properly nourished, your brain will be healthier and you won't feel depressed or stressed easily. In fact, depression, too much thought and pressure on the brain will have a major effect on health and endurance.
Prolonged stress can interfere with physical health and weaken endurance. In addition, stress can also cause disturbances in the digestive system and reproductive system. People who experience prolonged stress will usually experience sleep disorders.

 

b)    The problem of a healthy lifestyle is related to SDG's number 3, namely GOOD HEALTH AND WELL BEING

Solution: take time for yourself to recover physically and spiritually tired and maintain a healthy diet.

Solution steps:

1.    Turn off all smartphone notifications.
Perhaps this is the most important. Since the goal of me time is to have fun with yourself, don't disturb the peace of time with notifications from all the apps on your smartphone.

2.    If necessary, turn off all electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops, TVs, or others that we think can disturb our minds. Ignore your problem for a moment. Today is the time to focus on yourself.

3.    Give extra time to shower.
Even though you are giving yourself time to lazy about a day, that doesn't mean you don't take a shower all day. You still have to take a shower, even if it's only once. And add 15 minutes when you shower because the touch of water will make your body refreshed and relaxed.

4.    Replace activities that contain fatigue with activities that smell of calm without social media. Like reading a book or just drinking tea. Don't waste time just sleeping! Even though it's me time, it still has to be useful

5.    Stress can be reduced by exercising, walking casually in nature, practicing deep breathing to meditation.

6.    Maintain eating
Half fill the plate with non-starchy vegetables. Non-starchy vegetables include spinach and other dark green leafy vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. Filling half a plate with non-starchy vegetables is a simple way to make a healthier diet, because it is low in calories but packed with nutrients, fiber and water.

The learning about Sustainable Development Goals that I have received so far has had a good impact on learning. Makes me understand and realize the importance of a healthy lifestyle. And make me love myself more. Because before caring and loving other people, we better love ourselves first.
I am getting excited about this learning. Very excited to find new knowledge and activities that make me more active and enthusiastic.
